How are your products printed?
We use Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing. DTG is a method where a printer directly applies specialty ink onto the desired product with inkjet technology. This ink is then absorbed by the fibers of the garment.
What is that smell?
When you first open your garment bag, you will get a strong vinegar smell. We use a pre-treatment spray on our garments to help set the ink into the fabric, especially with non-cotton tees. After printing, the garments go straight into the dryer, then get shipped directly to your door. So, the smell can be strong when you first receive your items.
Removing the smell is easy! Just wash the garment inside out in cold water with a light detergent, and the smell will be removed. We recommend washing new garments inside-out, and hanging to dry the first couple times.

Do you print custom designs?
Yes, but only for large-quantity orders. If you’d like us to print a batch of shirts or tote bags for an upcoming bachelorette or birthday party, please email us at email@example.com and include the following:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Event details (ex: 40thth birthday, bachelorette party)
- Type of product(s) desired (ex: tees, tanks, tote bags)
- Quantity needed
- Design specs (phrase you’d like to use, theme of party, etc.)
Please note: Custom designs are approved on a case-by-case basis. All custom artwork will require an additional setup fee, and will be quoted based on intricacy of design.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
We may offer bulk discounts on orders of designs we already have in our store. Just ask! Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What does “being processed” mean?
We have received your order and it is being printed, quality checked, or prepared for shipment.
I ordered the wrong size. Can I adjust my order?
Before ordering, please consult our Sizing Chart.
Unfortunately, since all of our shirts are printed on-demand, we often start printing immediately after your order has been processed. If your order has already been shipped, take heart. We'll still try to make it right. We know how frustrating it can be to pay for something you can't use.
My shirt is too large/small. Can I exchange it?
Before ordering, please consult our Sizing Chart.
If your shirt arrives in the wrong size, we will provide a one-time replacement either one size up or one size down from the original order. Please email email@example.com so that we can arrange the exchange.
When will my order arrive?
Quality takes time. Because each of our products are produced on-demand, printing and shipping times can vary. However, most items are printed and shipped within 48 hours. Shipping generally takes from a few days up to a week, depending where in the country you’re located. All printed garments and bags ship from our fulfillment center in South Dakota. Phone cases ship from Northern California. Jewelry and holiday gift items ship from China using expedited shipping, but those items can still take up to a few weeks for delivery.
- Please allow 1-2 weeks for printed apparel, tote & travel bags, and phone cases.
- Please allow 2-4 weeks for all other jewelry and goods.
I ordered multiple items, but only received one?
This is common with orders that involve different product types (ex: a t-shirt and a phone case). Because we print on-demand, these items will not be batched together, and will be sent separately. Don’t worry, the rest of your items should be on their way!
Where do I find my tracking number?
You will get an email with your tracking number as soon as your order has shipped! Please allow some time for the status of the shipment to correctly display on the USPS tracking site.
My order never arrived. What do I do?
Oh no! We understand that sometimes things get lost in the mail. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your Pretty Tipsy order number and tracking number, and we’ll issue a replacement.
Returns & Exchanges
Do you offer refunds?
Not at this time. Since we print on-demand, we cannot offer a refund for an order once it’s been printed. See how to get a replacement product below.
How do I get a replacement for a defective product?
We want you to love your Pretty Tipsy gear. If there is something wrong with your order (defective product, defective printing, etc.), please email us with the following information:
- Your name
- Your email
- Pretty Tipsy order number
- Picture of wrong/damaged item
- The changes necessary to issue a replacement product (ex: color, size, style, etc.)
If we approve your replacement order, we’ll need you to send the item back to us unworn/unused/unwashed within 15 days of delivery and we’ll be happy to issue a replacement.
